This is a good one. Useing AnyDVD V6.3.0 and CloneDVD2 V2.9.1.2, I can't backup the movie Bourne Supremacy.

First, I get a dialog box to install Interactual Player. When I close that out, the list in CloneDVD2 only shows two empty audio entries, no video files! The disc won't play in WinDVD7 either, though it will play in a stand alone player.

Any idea what's up with this??
Why are ones and zeros so complicated? Linear Video Editing was easier. Downloading & streaming are two different things.

You might try turning off 'Auto play' for that drive. If that fails, try using DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip the DVD to your hard drive. Interactual is trying to take over, as it's designed to do when playing back on a computer.

Let me expand that to "You should never have 'Auto Play' enabled for any CD/DVD drive."

Next time, they'll "forget" to tell you they are installing something in your computer.

Can that split the orginal so no additional compression is used and does it tell you how much compression is being used like CloneDVD2 does??

DVDFab HD Decrypter just rips to a 1:1 copy on your HDD. Once there, you can further process it with other tools (to split and/or compress) or just burn it to disk.

    That's out.
How about the full Gold or Platiumn versions?
BTW; this is a SD DVD.

Ok, I looked and had a couple of questions:

    1. I assume it is a 'all in one' program as opposed to AnyDVD/CloneDVD2?
    2. If so, when/where/how does it or you update the program for new copy protection schemes??
    3. On the 'Split' page, when the option 'Preserve menus on Disc 2' is unchecked, I can't uncheck any of the choices for Disc 1. I'm confused about the setup and purpose of that page.

BTW, I received the 3rd copy of this movie and it copied without any issue using either CloneDVD2 or FabDVD.
