    when i play the video, i move the slider to a certain point and try to play it. but the audio is not coming out for sometime. then it comes but with a mismatch. it is ahead of the video being played. If I play it normally it will be ok. why this happen when i move slider and play? I do this in order to check a certain part of the video for edit purpose. i tried with windows media player, jet audio, total video player ,nero player with the same result.plz help.

    Likely the video doesn't have many index points. Some videos, such as avi files tend to suffer from those type of playback issues.
