Unlocking Philips 32PD6921

Hi there;

I have a Philips TV with DVD, 32PD6921, which is set to area 4 (I am in Brazil).

Could someone help me finding how to unlock the region code?
I was not able to find any tip in the Internet.

Every DVD player does NOT have an unlock code. Some do. Some don't. A TV combo device may not have any. If you can't find any unlock codes, they may not exist. I know that's not what you want to hear, but many people have this false idea that every player on the planet can be unlocked with some kind of code and that is simply not true. That's why you need to do research BEFORE you buy to see if the DVD player you want can be unlocked or not. And note also that manufacturers do change firmware on models during production and unlock codes will stop working as a result.

Buying TV/DVD player combo models is a bad idea. The DVD player will likely wear out in a few years anyway (they just aren't designed to last) and you'll just have to buy a new player. You might as well keep them separate. Or suppose your TV has a serious problem. Now you have no DVD player because the TV isn't working.
