I'm stuck with a company Vista PC with an ATi TV Wonder capture card. Yeah, I know -- it's not even supposed to work if you ask ATi Tech support, but it does.
For the last few months we've used Windows Media Encoder 9 and it's worked GREAT. Until yesterday, and now we're having problems with WME crashing, stalling, BSOD, etc. Blame Vista, blame WME, whatever. We can't get a new computer or something more sophisticated yet, so we're stuck with it.
Someone suggested we try Quicktime Pro. I have it for Mac, but I've never seen it in action on a PC with capture hardware. Will it work with the TV Wonder? I know it'll work with Firewire, but we're needing analog capture, not digital.
