    hi
i converted a MKV to DVD files with VSO Convert X to DVD..
    everything is OK
but when i put the DVD files on TMPGenc 3 to make the menus, the audio disappeared.
the audio is in DTS 5 channels.
what you suggest me to do?

    thanks

Use an authoring program that accepts DTS audio, which TDA does not.
Or use ConvertXtoDvd to make basic menus.

Doesn't TDA3 re-encode it anyway? Why not just skip Convertxtodvd and use TDA to author the dvd?

I thought i was pretty clear the first time, but i guess not......

TDA does NOT accept DTS audio!!
In any way, shape or form.

And i'm 99.9% sure TDA will not accept MKV files either.

It will accept divx/xvid files and author them, but still, NOT DTS audio......

DLP will, i think GUI for dvdauthor will, but i only used that once or twice a loooong time ago.

I am 100% sure TDA will accept mkv. I use it to author mkv's all the time. here is a screenshot

I don't know about the DTS audio though.
