Hi ALL!
I have a video, captured from a VHS tape. In the place that it was recorded, there was too much light over the people, so it's difficult to see them.
Is it possible to reduce this light effect? How can I do that, and using what softwares?
Thank you!!!

Honestly, probably not. You might be able to reduce the severity, but cannot return detail that is lost. Start with some of the basic filters in virtualdub, including brightness and contrast, and perhaps try colormill.
