x264 Error when encodingin Xvid4PSP

When i use XviD4PSP to encode AVI to IPod640, i usualy get an error in a random place during the conversion.

Its just like a window that popsup saying thats theres an error with x264.exe.

It seems to be in random places. Like sometimes 50%, other times 87% and so on.

The reason why i use Xvid4PSP is that its easy to hardcode subs onto my x264 MP4 file, from avi and srt.

Hope some one can help, i pretty much spend days searching for answer. But i am a newb on the area, and havent been able to solve my problem.

Tried latest beta version? 5.000?

I tried both versiosns. both crash :/

Some times i suceed in getting the conversion done, after 4-5 tries.
