I am having some problems with Premiere Elements 3 when trying to edit a video and encode it to an FLV file.
The original file is a WMV, and is 480x270. I did my edits, and am trying to export to an FLV file, but the FLV is always smaller than the original dimensions. I do not understand why.
If I save as a WMV file then the dimensions are OK. This is the only way I have been able to get this to work: 1) output file to WMV then 2) use Flash encoder to encode to FLV. This is obviously tedious and should be unnecessary since PE3 can export to FLV directly.
Interestingly, I downloaded the trial for Premiere Pro CS3 and the output dimensions are correct.
I would upgrade to Pro CS3 but unfortunately missed the $299 promotion, so I am stuck with Elements.
