If I use Virtualdub filters Resize and Rotate (in any order) with Divx 4.xx codec, I get this:
instead of this:
Any idea about how to avoid it?
Thank you,

	Are you going by the format restrictions of Divx? This is for Divx 6: Width must be multiple of 4, Height must be a multiple of 2, Valid depths 24, 32.

 That's the only item I can think of. But Divx won't encode if you vary from those. I've never ran into that problem, but I rarely rotate the video. Have you tried a newer Divx codec to see if it does it also?

 Maybe someone else has had that problem? Or knows the solution.

	Thank you.
 I'm converting videos for my Blackberry 8100 and the only supported formats are as follows:

 ================
 Supported Video Formats

 * MPEG-4 Part 2 (Simple Profile and bvop, including DivX 4)
 File formats - .avi, .3gp, .mp4, .mov Video - Up to 320 x 240, up to 800 kbps, up to 30 frames per second
 * H.263 (Profile 0 & Profile 3)
 File formats - .avi, .3gp, .mp4, .mov Video - up to 320 x 240, up to 800 kbps, up to 30 frames per second
 * Windows Media Video (Simple Profile)
 File formats - .wmv Video - Up to 320 x 240, up to 800 kbps, up to 24 frames per second
 Note: Windows Media Video is supported in BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 only.

 Unsupported Video Formats

 * MPEG-4 Part 10 (H.264 / AVC)
 * MPEG-4 Part 2 (Advanced Simple Profile)
 * H.263+
 * DivX 3, 5, 6
 * XviD
 * 3GPP2 (.3g2)
 * Windows Media Video Main/Advanced Profile (.wmv)
 * Advanced Systems Format (.asf)
 * Real Media (.rm)
 * MPEG-1 / MPEG-2
 ================

 H.263 gives me an error in Virtualdub and for Wmv I have to install additional codecs.
 I've always used Divx 4 or Xvid for my handheld devices. The corruption problem during rotation seems to be specific to Divx 4, though.

 Among the supported formats, there is: "MPEG-4 Part 2 (Simple Profile and bvop, including DivX 4)", but what other MPEG-4 Part 2 codecs are available, other than Divx and Xvid?

 Thank you,
