In what context? Typically, you don't want errors. The only errors you want to deal with are trying to read from old / dirty / scratched media. Google is your Friend

I've had success using many different dvd burners that read discs that were scratched. From the old PLEXTOR 708 dvd burner to the LITEON dvd burners/dvdroms & TOSHIBA dvdroms to the BENQ 1650 & 1655 dvd burners to the SAMSUNG 183L. From what I've read over the last few years the NEC & LG drives are poor readers. But I do have a LG H10N & LGH62L dvd burners and it was only the LGH62L that could read a disc all the others couldn't. But then again I've had experiences where the PLEXTOR 708 could read any bad disc, the BENQ's could as well and the LITEON's & TOSHIBA too. I think it's safe to say it would really depend on how badly the disc is scratched.Originally Posted by demonwarrior

If you're looking for a Sata Dvd burner the 20x spd SAMSUNG S203B is the best dvd burner on the market right now.

Don't post misinformation to confuse other members of this forum. The SAMSUNG S203B SATA drive is available at Newegg.com for the price of $31.99 at the moment. :P I suggest you get your facts straight before posting.
