  1. I have used Ulead Movie Factory to author a dvd of a well know 4 cd svcd film..
I setup the main screen with the buttons, backdrop, music etc... and then proceeded to go on to the simulate mode..
I clicked on the play button and hey presto the screen came on with music, backdrop, buttons etc... and when I clicked on one of the buttons the film started playing..
I then proceeded to go on to create dvd folders and also the disc image..
I then went on to burn the dvd..
I took the dvd out of the drive and put it in my dvd player (3 in fact) the ps2, the one in my pc and my standalone player and guess what?! None of them played the dvd disc..
I then did a backup of one of my original films and gave that a go and that played in everyone of my dvd drives..
I am now completly stuck on what can be causing this problem..
    Has anyone any ideas????
I thought it might be the way i am re-encoding the original file, but i am not sure as it works in the simulation mode?!
Any help would be very much appreciated as at the moment i feel like throwing this pc through the windows..

    Cheers

    Sean

have you made any other dvd with moviefactory that works?

you could try to author the disc folder video_ts and then burn it with nero using udf/iso mode www.vcdhelp.com/nerodvd.htm
