    I have somehow gotten a corrput DivX file. It plays on my computer, but not my buffalo Link Theater. If I run GSpot, I get this error:

    Failed to connect Output pin 0x0a58c664 ("Src Media") on NLE_clean.avi to input pin 0x0a58c764 ("Stream") on filter 0x03d059ef ("DivX Demux"). ConnectDirect() failed. Error: 0x80040207: (unknown)


    How do I fix this?

    You could try Divxfix, or failing that, if it plays in VLC, stream it into a new file.

    Could the file be in DivX 3 format?

    DivFix++ is pretty good.

    You can also try opening it in VirtualDub, then selecting "Scan video stream for errors" from the Video menu.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
