    hi, I am getting an error message in both VirtualDub and VirtualDubMod saying this.

    couldn't locate decopressor for format Divx (Divx 4+) VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player are not suitable Only Direct stream copy is available for this video.

    How can i fix this? btw redwudz was right mp3 won't play back so i am trying to demux and i get that error above.

    Seems easy enough, get the decompressor (codec) it's asking for.
