    need to get new software for burning dl dvd. been using stomp/ sonics recordnow for years with good sucess but lost in a crash. I see roxio has bought them out and has an expensive, many bells and whistles, eacy media creator 9. i don't need all this. i just want to be able to backup onto dl with great success with out having to shell out a hundy to do it. My new laptop has vista. any suggestions would be valued. thanks

    ImgBurn works fine on Vista. So does Nero 7, among others.

    Doesn't Vista have it's own built in burning software? XP does. It's pretty basic but that's all you sound like you want anyway.
