    Say I have an HD or BluRay DVD and I want to encode it to a high definition DivX or Xvid file. What is a good software that will do the job? Thanks.

    You wont find any AutoGK tool for it yet. See for example http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=124808

    And I'm making the "dvd to avi" forum a "hddvd/bluray to avi" forum also. So I'm moving you.

    So there seems to be no single software that will do the job, I thought TMpgenc or DivX Converter would be able to do it. Sorry for the posting in the wrong forum, I was unsure. Thanks.
