ok I am new at this and I ripped a DVD just to do it, I ripped it with DVD2AVI with a downmix to pro logic, Well i am a sound nut and when I played it on my B and W speakers, I also played it on my M&K speakers and it sound pretty good, I was surprised at how well all of the sounds were at the correct speaker,
the picture look like I recorded it on VHS on the SLP setting. but the man problem is that it looks a lil blocky at times. I can fit 80 min on a 80 min cd so I would rather get better quality if I can get 60 min on a 80 min cd that would be cool.
I am using Tmpeg and alot of the software from this site.
I also plan on putting home video of family activites on VCD so if you can help me out that would be great
