    alway use svcd2dvd to join any 2 cd files
    but they always come up as wide screen
    i've gone into the options and choose to create as pal, but its still widescreen
    any help please

  3. PAL or NTSC have nothing to do with widescreen which is what you appear to be saying. If the video is widescreen and you force it to fill a 4:3 screen everything will look really tall and skinny. The other option is to loose things that may be happening at both sides by trimming them off. I myself as you may have inferred prefer to see it widescreen even if it doesn't fill the whole screen.

    Indeed - if the source is ultimatly 16:9 then so will be the DVD. If you want it full (and so loose some of the picture), you can zoom via the TV or DVD player.
