I have a brand new computer running w2k sp4. I installed DCD decrypter but it seems to affect the system some how. While doing an ISO read, mouse pointer is very "stacato" and moves in step, system slows down but system idle is more than 90%. When doing a iso write, i can never gain faster speed than 0,9x write. This is to bad.
Processor is p4 3Ghz and i have 1GB ram.
CD/DVD drive is samsung SH-s182d with IDE interface.
I have tried to install, and change settings, for samsungs magic speed thingy without affecting performance for DVD iso rip/write. (Nor should magic speed affect DVD mode either)
Any clue'?
best regards

try ImgBurn, and be sure the burner and the HD transfer mode is set on DMA, not PIO
use samsung ODD to update your burner
