  1. Is there anyways to burn a VCD as wide screen if it was captured to a 352x240 format? Like the picture is streched out if I just burn it in nero and play it on my DVD player, is there a way to burn it so it becomes widescreen, tried forceing my DVD to display it WS but didn't work.

Since you captured at a 4:3 aspect (352x240), any attempts to make it anamorphic widescreen will distort the 4:3 aspect. You can re-encode the 4:3 picture to display in a 16:9 aspect, but the result will be letterboxed (black bars on the left and right sides of your picture).

Yes there is a way, you can customize the way your video looks how ever you want AND not have the black bars on the sides. I sent this in to Baldrick to put on the FAQ since I see the question asked a lot. It didn't make it to the FAQ for some reason, I guess everyone would rather just change the aspect ratios. Personally I find what I have outlined very informative especially for captures you may need to center or take out the bottom of.

How to Crop Your Video with TMPGEnc for Letterbox or Widescreen style viewing.

    1. Load the clip you wish to convert by using the "Browse" button

    2. Hit the "Load" button and load the template you wish to use (Make sure
you load a template BEFORE moving to other steps, it is very important if you
want the correct dimensions for your MPG in the end)

    3. Now hit the "Setting" Button

    4. Now hit the "Advanced" Button

    5. Double click "Clip Frame"

    6. Click on "Arrange Setting" and select
    "Center-Custom Size" under "Arrange Method"

    7. Now you can arrange your video to look the way you want on your TV. The
number on the left is the width and the number on the right is the heighth.
You can play with these numbers to get the desired effect. I use 350X180.
At 350 I do lose some of the left and right on my 19" TV and 180 is wider
than true Widescreen or Letterbox on most DVDs. Experiment for desired
    effect and your television.
This is where the template comes into play. The imput video will be as is.
The output will be in the demensions of the template you selected earlier,
but have the look that is displayed in the priview window.

    8. When you are done hit the "OK" button. You should go back to the
"Advanced" screen and "Clip Frame" should be check marked. If it isn't
    checked, check it.

    9. Hit "OK" and then encode. That is it!

Extras if you would like to know or use.
    1. If you select "Mask Color" you can select what color appears above and
below your video. Default is black, but you could make it orange, yellow,
    green, etc.
    2. Under "Clip Frame Setting" you can actually cut part of the video out.
Say you recorded something off of the TV and you got an annoying line at the
bottom of the video. AFTER you have arranged your video using the above just
add or subtract as much of the video that you need to eliminate the problem.
This will stretch and skew the video marginally, but will also get rid of
    unwanted crap.
