    What gives the best resuls for encoding to mpeg2 for DVD-R?

    Ulead Movie Director, Lsx Full Pluggin for premiere, or tmpeg http://pwp.netcabo.pt/0165394101/TMPGEnc_Template.html

    My system is as follows:-
    Twin 1900Mp's
    Asus A7m266-D
    512mb Corsair xms2400ddr
    Asus GF3 8200 Deluxe
    Matrox RT2500
    Xp Pro

    I want the best output but at quickest time.

    Btw What's the inbuilt encoder for Ulead if you use the default not the Lsx choice if you get poor results?

    Do you mean "Ulead DVD Movie FACTORY"? If so, I like the built-in Ligos encoder. For my VHS captures I can't tell a difference between it and TMPGEnc. DMF's Ligos is PREDICTABLE in size with the standard VBR settings and it is pretty quick...about 3:1.
