  1. ok, I've tried and tried, and seached and searched, but I can't figure out how to rip .mov movies that stream from websites (not those like on Apple trailers, the ones that actually stream). If I save the file as a quicktime movie or as the source it turns out as only a few bytes in size.

Is there anything I can do or use to save the movies to my computer, without using something like a screen capture programme? I'm not bothered what format I save it in, even if it's .mov again. I've seen these movies saved before, so I'm guessing the answer is yes.

Any help would be really appreciated.

  2. They're not flv movies, they're streaming quicktime; y'know with the whole QT loading symbol?
