    Hi
I´ve a downloaded vcd on my HD with all the dirs, CDI, Segment, EXt and so on, but how do I burn it, so I kan play it in my DVD-player?
If I just burn, using Nero or Winoncd, like data I can´t play it.
    Whats wrong?

  2. VCDs aren't CD-ROMs. You can't burn them as data.

Did you download a CUE/BIN image? If you did, then follow the linking on burning CUE/BIN images here:

    Hi

No cue or bin files, but just a raw copy of the files. Like using explorer to kopy a vcd to the HD. Now the trick is to make another vcd, playable in a DVDplayer, from the raw files.
    How do I do that?

  4. You cannot copy files off the VCD to your HD in explorer style and expect it to work.
Try vcdxrip from vcdimager www.vcdimager.org .
Use CDRWIN and make an image(bin/cue) of your VCD disk to your hard drive. Use vcdxrip and you will get the mpg files ripped in a proper manner to your HD.
To re-author them to another VCD, follow the guides on the links given by vitualis.

  7. Remember that the physical structure of a VCD is vitally important in it working. You cannot just give a copy of the "files" on a VCD to someone as they will not be able to recreate the original VCD.

In such cases, the best you can do is to reauthor the "DAT" file as another VCD using Nero (or use VCDGear on the DAT file to convert it back to MPEG and use another VCD authoring proggy like VCDImager). However, if the original VCD had menus, etc., these would be lost.

The best way to give a copy of a VCD to someone else is to extract the original as a CUE/BIN image. This can be accomplished with CDRDAO (+ XDuplicator) or CDRWin (even the demo version will do this a full speed).
