Well I have been using InstantCopy for a while now, but all of a sudden it keeps giving me this error.
"Access violation at address 004A4CAF in module 'ICopy.exe'. read address 00000000"
What does this mean and how do I fix it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling InstantCopy, but that did nothing.

Hello there!
I got the same problem too. I read in this Forum that if you pressed the start button first, you could work around this problem or if you got the version (update) 8.3.0.8 installed, then everything would be ok. I tried both, but no success.
However, I found out that it depends on the ripped files. Sometimes (I wonder why) when you rip a DVD the ripped files aren't well recognized by the IC. If you try another DVD ripped files the program may work fine.
I myself have tried to rip a recent DVD using DVD decrypter alone, but the ripped files were not accepted by IC (I got "Access violation..."). Then I started using the Ripit4me.exe (a nice program that works with both DVD Decrypter and DVDSHRINK) and I have no more "Access violation", but "List index out of bounds", instead).
Nevertheless, DVDShrink dit its job very well. I myself prefer IC, but it only works with some DVD's.
If you have any more knowledge about this issue, pls share it with us.
Tks
