    Anyone made a time searchable SVCD that works on Pioneer dvd players?

    The PBC Off theory doesn't work.

    I make them all the time with Nero 5.5.6.4 ... but not with earlier versions

    I actually dont think Nero made a scandat for SVCD before that version

    I just tried Nero 5.5.6.4. Still, I can't time search on my Pioneer 440.

    Do you have a Pioneer DVD player? If so, what is your procedure to get your SVCDs to use the search functions.

    I think I might just make 5 minute chapters as a compromise; I've wasted 2 weeks trying to get SVCDs to search on my Pioneer 440 (and 525).

    Oh you have the 444 .... sorry I know it works on the 434 and 343

    my friend has the 444 and he has LOTS of problems with it

    sorry ... the 444 is a hassle!!!
