Please Help- VCD Burning problem

I have Adaptec EASy CD Creator version 4. I have a question, which CD Layout do I choose, Audio CD, Data CD, Mixed Mode CD, CD Extra or Bootable CD? I am pretty sure I have to choose Data CD, but when I burn my VCD file onto the CD, will it play when I put it in my DVD player? or will it just not do anything because it thinks it is Data? Please help me.

Your DVD will not play it unfortunately as it will think it is just data. I would guess by your options that you do not have the deluxe version which is what you need to create VCD's, the regular one just doesn't cut it (sorry for the pun )
If you don't want to upgrade try nero, even the free version will allow you to make VCD's.
