    Does anyone know where to find good test patterns. I want to use them to determine when in the process audio out of sync conditions are being intoduced. It is sometimes difficult to tell if the dialog is out of sync with the video.

    If you have a camcorder, record some "slapstick" shots and transfer them to the PC in AVI format. That should work good as a audio/video sync test file.
