Ive used TMPGenc 3 or 4 times now to encode avi's to mpeg1 so that i can burn them as VCD's
The films I have encoded so far have taken approx 2-3 hours to encode but I have since tried to encode the second part of two films and TMPGenc seems to be running very very slow. It starts off ok but then the estimated time just keeps going up and it takes ages to scan through the frames.
Does anybody have any ideas why it keeps going so slow ?
I am using a duron 700 with 192meg of ram, and am closing all apps before encoding.
