  1. Sorry for the Long Subject. But whenever, I use TMPGEnc to split a MPEG VCD Format movie file, the second part gets alittle blocky at times. They are usually Rainbow blocks, and only last about 1-2 seconds each time. But they happen about 8-9 times on the second part. And sometimes the sound cuts off for 5 seconds and then resumes again. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Is there an alternative to cutting MPEG Files?

    <EDIT>
    I went to there website, but M2edit wasn't free. I didn't want to download the 23 mb demo. So I'm gonna try myFLIX. Thanks for telling me about the website.

    <EDIT>

    I think you can also use bbMPEG to split MPEG-1 files in VCD format. The tutorial on this site only shows how to split an MPEG-2 SVCD format movie with bbMPEG, but bbMPEG (program is called AVI2MPEG2.exe) also supports MPEG-1 / VCD.
    It is also said that bbMPEG does a better job in multiplexing audio and video than TMPGEnc.

    bbMPEG is freeware, website http://members.home.net/beyeler/bbmpeg.html
