software to allow more room

i have a wintv 150 card that i capture at mpeg2 standard dvd play. im looking for software that will allow allow me to to put lets say 5gb on a 4.7 disk if i move down the quality. ive tried nerovision and tmpgenc dvd author 1.6 but have had no luck. on nero evytime i lower quality for out put it doesnt allow more room, tmpeng has no option for this and virtual dub wont work with mpeg2.

DVD Shrink will do it if you have already authored a DVD. ReJig will reduce the size of an mpeg before authoring. Both are free.
