  1. I read as much as I could on other parts of this site, but need further help.

I downloaded a long tv movie (127 minutes)program to my hardrive, from the internet using torrents.
My hardrive shows a folder with the name of the program, a subfolder called Video Ts, and then files called "rebuilder", "torrent download".

The Video Ts folder contains 32 files , "video_ ts.vup, ifo, bop etc.te and researched this iste and learned to a small extent what these files represent.

The rebuilder file contains- "Reduction Level for DVD-5: 100,0%
    - Overall Bitrate : 4.810Kbs
    - Space for Video : 3.922.158KB
    - HIGH/LOW/TYPICAL Bitrates: 5.281/4.553/4.810 Kbs"

For media support I have roxio easy media dvd creator, windows media and winamp.

What software do I need and how do I do this:

    1) Play the tv file on my computer? It won t open with any of the above media players.

    2) Burn it to a dvd so I can play it on my tv dvd player?

I am a real newbie at this and am all ears.

    Thanks

Try using VLC Media Player. Start the player. Click on 'File>Open Directory' and point it at your VIDEO_TS folder, then click 'OK'. If the file is complete, it should play just like the DVD. You should see menus, etc. If the file seems to be OK, then you could download ImgBurn and just burn the VIDEO_TS folder to a DVD. See what the VIDEO_TS folder size is. It needs to be 4.38GB or less to fit on a DVD-5 single layer disc. Both those programs are freeware.

How to burn VIDEO_TS folders with ImgBurn: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=197530#post1587076

The DVD format and specification is to the upper left, under 'WHAT IS' DVD. You need the BUPs, IFOs and VOBs in a VIDEO_TS folder. Just ignore those other files outside of that folder.

    And welcome to our forums.
