The above mentioned tool is the easyest one to convert your typ[ical AVI ( Divx / Xvid ) to DVD in one click. However, I do have to ask why would even ask how to convert what are probably copywrited downloaded movies to DVD. You know that that is against our rules. Of course they may be public domain but are they really?

Next time just leave out the unnecessary info about "Torrents" and "downloaded" and no assumption will be able to be made. There are people watching!

    ConverttoDVD will work for you.

    Then don't assume
See how easy that was ?
Odd's are good but where is the proof ?

And i know of many many many places that use torrents/p2p for videos & concerts that are perfectly fine. Even in full dvd resolution & not avi's.

You can see the DVD specifications to the upper left in 'WHAT IS' DVD. It will tell you the allowable resolutions for DVDs (NTSC in the US). 16X is the fastest media speed the burner can use. It should take about 8 or so minutes to burn a DVD at 16X.

Don't even bother with cheap DVD media. Get some decent brands and you will have less problems. Not a good place to try to save money. You can look up your DVD burner to the left in 'DVD Writers' and see what others are using.
