I'm sure this is a stupid question but if you wanted to write a program for just copying a DVD to another DVD, why can't you just copy all of the files and folders from the movie DVD as they are and then just burn them on a blank DVD the same way? What is so special that has to be done if you are just copying a DVD?

Then there is ArCoSS, then there is making them fit, removing region codes etc.
If it was that easy, everyone would just use DVD Decrypter ISO->Read, ISO-Write, and never need another piece of software.Read my blog here.
