I want to batch convert about 50 aac files to mp3. Now GoldWave worked When I was trying it out but now it say the file have an unreconisable compressor (I changed some things since I tried the program out like upgraded nero burning rom and uninstalled some programs that I dont remember what they were) I would like to know what decompress to use with GoldWave 3vix and coreacc do not work and I have checked all 3vix things in GoldWave under directshow.

  2. Since you have nero you could try the encoding tool in nero.
Sadly not all aac works. Only if the aac contains one stream, it doesn't work with multiple streams.

Actually, if you need to convert 50 files, all you have to do is highlight those 50 files in Explorer, right-click, and select Convert To (which should have a little speaker icon before it, and should send all the files to dbPowerAmp to convert. Unless you want to use different settings for each conversion...)

Use FAAD2 to decode to wav. Use "any" mp3 encoder (CDEx) to encode to mp3.
