  1. is it possible to create chapters for multiple clips(not a single movie) that have been downloaded. or say i were to put like 6 or 7 mpgs clips burned onto a vcd. will the dvd player skip to the next clip or do i have to add chapters where each clip starts? and how would you create a main menu that would take you to the begining of each clip?

  2. In nero when you click on new and then s,(vcd) you can click on the next tab which is the menu tab, then you can tell it how many movies you want listed on each page then when you start dropping movies in there it will add a new page or menu every time you go past the amount you specified. It works great. You can even put your own backround in it.

  3. You can create chapters with multiple clips too.And Yes, you have to add chapters to each clip independently. You can use menus to jump to a required chapter point as desired. Whether the player will skip to next clip or not depends on the way you author the (S)VCD. VCDImager is a powerful VCD Authoring tool using XML for this purpose. TSCV should however make the job easy.

  4. With VCDImager (and the XML system) and +/- GUI (e.g., TSCV), you can definitely have "chapters" (i.e., entrypoints) within one mpeg, over several mpegs, have chapters in one mpeg plus several other independent ones, etc.

You can pretty much do what you want once you understand how it all works.

With Nero, you cannot make chapters (in the conventional "seamless" sense) at all.
