Hello,
I hope I am posting to the right forum. Connecting a laptop via the dvi output to an HDMI input. Previously this used to display successfully. The scenario is line-doubler connected to my laptop via a dvi/hdmi cable. It seems that periodically I have to reconnect the line doubler in order to get the signal to pick up. Any reasons? Yet when I connect dvi -> dvi directly (laptop to source) never a problem. Could there be any issues here? I may have been a little confused here so let me know if you require any more clarifications. Thanks.

Cables most likely need to be connected before the laptop is powered up. Other than that, sounds like you are having an issue the line-doubler.
