can anyone tell me whats the easiest and fastest way to remove those annoying subtitles from downloaded movies

If you mean those actually in the frame itself (i.e. hardsub), there isn't any except by trimming. What's behind it is gone and restoration will be a frame by frame operation, not worth the effort.

If they are not hard coded as kschang decribed, easy enough to delete, or just set your player to ignore them. And since this concerns subtitles, moving you to our Subtitle Forum where you might get more info.
