trackwriter error from I-author .cif images

everytime i try to burn an I-author image with Roxio EZ cd 5 plat. It does track 1 but when it starts on trk 2 it errors: E80041942 TrackWriter error—data incomplete [t7307]. I made the track files from multiplexed in TMpgenc and changed to track files with mpgXmps. But my image has a pregap before the tracks and none of the Vcdhelp.com iso's have that... A little help por favor on how to get I-author images to burn? I'm going to try another cd multiplexing all the files in I-author Multiplexor and making an image with those files, should that even make a difference. I've view the first image (cdmage'd to bin/cue) on WINDVD2000 mounted on daemon virtual drive, and it playes wonderfully with a inital start video and then a one page menu. Any help would be appreciated.

I've read somewhere that EZ 5 can't burn I-author cif's (but older version 4.x does). You either have to downgrade or convert the cif to a cue/bin (with CDMage) and burn with CDrwin or Fireburner.

I have used the above mentioned method before but now I use VCDImager which I believe, once I get to master the program, will give more flexibility when it comes to menu's.
