I have read the guide for i-author on this side, and on the doom site, but I cannot find an answer to my question.
Suppose I create a video file, and two audio files with TMPGEnc, how can I load them in i-author?
The video file from CCE is supported, but not from TMPGEnc.
TMPGEnc also creates mp2 files for audio. i-author can load them only in the first audio stream. The second audio stream supports only *ABS or *MPA files.
Which program creates MPA files?
I know that I can use BBmpeg for multiplexing, but this program does not support subtitles as i-author does.
Can someone explain me how to solve this? as all the guides seems to avoid this topic.
Thanks,

To load your audio streams into I-Author simply rename the ext to ABS or MPA. Make sure and tell windows not to hide known file exts (open any folder/tools/folder options/view.
There is a new freeware program which can create soft encoded sub titles. I recommend multiplexing in bbmpeg and using this new prog to add your subs rather than using I-Author's multiplexor since it has some serious bugs. I can't remember the name of the new program but it should be pretty easy to find on doom9.org. -
Thanks for the response.
I will search for that program.
