    hi ive got a movie on a disc which is vcd ready how can i re encode it tried tmpg it finds it on d drive segment,cti.mpegav, etc but wont open it thanks for any help.

    Hmm, are you trying to encode the file to DIVX or to VCD. Because if it is VCD ready then you should be able to just use Nero and burn a VCD. Why are you reencoding the file?
    You're not really going into an astroid field are you?!?
