Subtitle shadow

Hi

I have had problems with vobsub of late,so i have had to unistall and reinstall it.Since i have reinstalled,my last two efforts have left like a shadow effect on the subtitles(srt subs).


Would be grateful for any help on how to rectify this problem.

try disable vobsub in the configuration, does both subs dissapear? looks like two sub filters are installed...could be vobsub,vsfilter,ffdshow or the software player are adding subs.

Thank you,that was the problem, my partner had installed ffdshow without my knowledge.So as you said vobsub and ffdshow where both trying to do the subs causing the shadow.
