Question about ATI VCR codecs

I bought an ATI All in Wonder Pro n i luv to capture in ATI VCR 2.0

But Virtual Dub can't use the codec.


IS their ney way to "unlock" it.

I own the software and card

I damn curious about this too. I read that somewhere on the ati site the vcr files can be opened by some program and decompressed to avi form.

Hmm I read something along these lines once before, you had to hex-edit the codec or something. But why not capture in MJPEG or Huffy?

1.) MJPEG costs money and i can't use Directshow codecs with my ATI Card. (It's old and only allows capture to ATI VCR 1.0 and 2.0, Packed YUV, Indeo Raw and MPEG raw)
