ive come across this wierd problem in premiere 6.5, heres a link for a screen picture of the problem.

    http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a2/qweasdzxcrtyfghvbn/dhghffjnh.jpg

see where i circled it?? thats the problem, ive got all these clips in the timeline and if i try clicking on the play button, it doesnt do anything. I re-opened premiere 6.5 (not my saved file), then i randomly put a clip into the timeline, yet it still doesnt play the clip. I dont understand what the problem is, one second i was working on my project, now this just comes out of no where.

    Help please ><

    Hi [B]risk!,

Try searching and / or posting in the forums at www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutorial - there's loads there for Premiere users...

    Welcome to the forums...

    I like virgins!!!!

Have a close look. What your controllers are showing is from the SOURCE monitor, and not the project monitor..
If you simply move over the transitions pallete, you'll see the project monitor teamed up with the source monitor..
These controls effect your main timeline, and the source monitor controls effect the clips in your bin...

    Good luck!!!
