    ello,
    I have some Hi8 analogue footage captured via iMovie on my G4 cube, via a Sony Media Converter.
    The footage is then saved as DV NTSC quicktime.
    When viewed on my Mac with Quicktime v5.0.2 it looks very close to the original footage.
    When the same file is viewed on a PC using Quicktime Pro v5.0.2 I see all kinds of artifacts.
    Can anyone explain why?

    u should explain what kind of artifacts u're getting.
