Im trying to capture DVD films using this card. I have mannaged to capture sometimes, but mainly virtual dub freezes up after a few minutes. I followed the instructions provided on this site and installed the huffyuv codec. I am using a jetpro 830 motherboard, 1.2 athlon processor, 256 ram, C: is a 6.4 gig maxtor and the drive I capture to is D: 15gig maxtor. I assume my system is enough to do the job, but a bit of help would be appreciated. Thanx..

Your system is fast enough, but you may want to look into a bit more diskspace (trade the 6gbyte disk for 40+). Also, check the speed of the drives - 7200 is best in IDEs. As for capturing DVD's, you will get much better results with an internal DVD drive and "ripping" the disks. TV capture cards should only be used for analog input (VCR, tv signal, non-DV camcorders).
