"The current recorder cannot erase rewritable discs"
I get this showing on the screen in Nero when I try to erase my CD-RW. It used to erase discs fine, I don't know what happened. I tried 2 different discs and it says the same thing.
Please Help!

I've had similar issues in the past. Usually uninstalling/reinstalling will correct the problem. And of course install all of the latest patches.

k, It got fixed somehow.
I used the CD erasing thing in Windows XP, but the error still came up afterwards in Nero. So I just burned something on the disk, and tried erasing it using Nero and it worked....weird.

Are there some DVDS that will "self-erase" if you try to cloan/copy them?
