I want to burn a clip to a cd so that a person can play it from their DVD player or their computer (as a quicktime). So i want to burn what i guess you would call a hybrid VCD/data CD. I don't mind that the media is dupicated, cuz the clip is small.

Is this possible? I tried using toast to burn a CD, and i was able to do this in 2 seperate sessions, but it didn't work so well. The playback in the quicktime was atrocious. I can't seem to find a way to burn everything simlultaneously. Can this be done? If there is a solution for the mac platform that is preferable as i don't have a PC.
    thanks

  2. What about making a simple VCD? You can fit 80' movie per CD, and MAC applications to encode + to author any clip should be easily available...

Yes, it's quite possible. VCDEasy allows you to add data files to the ISO file system part of a VCD.
