VCD burning problem

I have tried burning few mpgs to a 4-10x CD-RW with plexwriter 24/10/40A
using Nero v5564... unfortunately, my Sony VCD player has some
problem playing the CDRW( a few blocky here & there from time to time with
all the mpegs). At first, I was using the 10x to write, second time,
i used 4x to write, still the problem persist...

The mpegs were from different vcd's, as I want to put all my favourite mpg in one VCD(I used vcdgear305 to convert the .dat to .mpg).
When I use CD-copy(in Nero) to
copy one of the VCD to the CDRW, all mpegs appear okay though...

can anyone help me out here ? thank you very much

Is that "Sony VCD player" as in stand-alone VCD player (as opposed to "DVD" player)?

VCD players are based around a CD-ROM drive. Most CD-ROM drives do not read CD-RW media well (same on the PC unless you have a multi-read drive).

I suggest that you try standard CD-R media.
