  1. I have a new Pioneer DVR 110 that it supposed to burn at 16x. IM using a 16x dvdr disc but the drive will only write at 4x. Is there a setting somewhere that IM missing? I have selected max speed in the recording software but thats not doing it.
    Thank you,

What media are you using? The 110 has issues with certain media and requires a firmware upgrade.

Hi, I have recently bought a pioneer dvr 110. I have noticed that it will not burn at slow speeds X16 with cd-rs. It burns dvd-r's ok.
Is it a media problem, I have been using ritek with dvd-r's and verbatum with cd-rs.
I have checked the firmware version, it is 1.22
Have yer paid your dues Jack??
Yes Sir, the cheque is in the mail!!!
