I've read all the posts and the help files here as well as at vcdhelp.com and I'm still getting problems when trying to create a menu. It may be my system, but here is what I am doing (and trying).

I have created several VCDs/SVCDs (I am not doing the XVCD or XSVCD thing) any way I have burn these and played them with no problems. I tried to just create a simple still menu. I had trouble getting CDRAO to work through TSCV. I can get it to work through VCDEasy for some reason, but it will not recognize my drive and HOME is not defined(TSCV). Anyway that's the first problem. Second, when I do generate the CUE (obviously it won't burn TCSV) I burn it with VCDEasy and the menu doesn't work on the DVD player. So finally I tried the menu generator, but when I try to run the chapters tab I get an MMSYSTEM296, I also get another MMSYSTEM error(but I can't get it right now, one error at a time). From all the trouble I am having, I am guessing there is a step or setting wrong or maybe my registry is hosed.

Any help is appreciated. I am not looking for anything extravagant, just a simple still menu.

I have the VFAPI latest, and have media player running in the background with an MPEG running (paused). I Captured with VirtualDub, encoded with TMPGEnc(standard VCD). I'm Using .82 ver6 of TSCV, and also posted this over on ttool.
I also tried burning with XDuplicator, but I still get the HOME not defined error. Go figure!!

I think I covered everything. kinda long, but I wanted to be thorough so not to take up alot of ping ponging posts.
