Random green screen, help! :)

When I play any kind of video format from my computer to my TV it works really well, until about usually 10-15min, the screen just go green. Only on the TV tho and the video keep running on the comp like nothing happened.

Sometimes the player (tried alot of em because of this problem but its all the same) starts to lag really much and make my CPU go 100% usuage.

I looked around in other forums and some said it was MP10 that screwed things up. Therefor I reinstalled WinXP and didnt update media player. But it was for no good. Still same error.

amd 2800+
1024ddr
geforce 5600, 256

Got the latest nvidia updates. Any clues?`

Just an out there guess but, screensaver? You said your cpu's pretty much tapped by the player. Maybe the ss kicking in messes up the video stream just enough, and it can't get it back.
